Appy Orse Acres provides lessons for all ages and skill levels. From western to hunt seat to jumping, we have something for everyone.
Not only do riders get a full hour on horseback, but riders also learn to catch, groom and tack their horse along with the proper take down and care for their horse after their ride. It has been our experience that involving the student in the preparation of the horse prior to a lesson builds self-confidence and teaches the student the responsibility of taking overall care of their horse.

Riding lesson tips
- All lessons must be booked at least 24 hours in advanced by calling Bernadette at 262-692-9144.
- Arrive at least one hour before your scheduled lesson to allow enough time to properly prepare your horse
- Wear long pants and closed toed shoes along with proper layers
- Age minimum of four years old and weight limit of 220 pounds for rider's safety and well-being of animals

First Lesson - $50
Group Lesson on stable horse - $40
Group Lesson on owned horse - $30
Private Lesson - $55
*Lesson fees are due the day of the lesson
