School groups, recreational summer camps and Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops are welcome to visit Appy for a hands-on learning experience! Educational trips include a teaching session that focuses on proper grooming techniques, an introduction to riding equipment and basic horse care information. Teaching sessions can be tailored to the individual group's needs and learning goals. Attendees then get the opportunity to ride starting with a short orientation in our arena followed by an informative trail ride. A jumping demonstration concludes the day! Large parties
Appy Orse Acres has the ability to host parties of up to 100 attendees throughout the summer. In addition to our covered picnic area, we have space for large tents, bands, catered buffets, volleyball, yard games and bonfires. Parking is available for buses. Trail rides can be provided for guests in multiple smaller groups (see our trail ride page for more info and prices). Host your next corporate event, wedding or reunion at Appy!

birthday parties
Looking for a unique idea for your loved one's birthday party? Look no further....we host them! Countless youngsters have celebrated their birthday at Appy and have made memories to last a lifetime. An hour long trail ride through the beautiful countryside is the primary activity for our birthday parties (see our trail ride page for more info and prices). While not on their horse guests can enjoy our facility for birthday cake, snacks or BBQ in our covered picnic area, play yard games or set up a bounce house in our enormous yard or relax around a campfire.
**Birthday parties are not cancelled due to weather. We will just move the party into our large indoor arena!
